The Beach Bungalows provides its guests with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience beautiful Tamarindo. With nearby restaurants, clubs, boutiques, yoga studios and grocery stores, and the beach only a few minutes' walk away, we are close to all the fun but just far enough away to be relaxing.
We strive to create a genuine "get away" feel for our guests in a unique garden setting with a friendly and attentive staff, our resident cat and the occasional visiting monkeys.
SUSTAINABILITY
In our continuing efforts to be environmentally friendly, we use a state of the art water treatment system that allows gray water to be used for irrigation, helping to conserve precious resources, and a water purification system that makes the water from all taps drinkable. We cool our bungalows with A/C and ceiling fan, use green products and biodegradable cleaning supplies, and are active recycling participants. We are also proud to support Salve Monos, an organization committed to preserving and protecting Tamarindo's howler monkey population.

We are Leti and Nico and it has been 8 years since we are living in Costa Rica. Here in Costa Rica, we finally found what we were looking for, the Pura vida life !
Now, The Beach Bungalows give us the oportunity to live a new experience, receive and help people who come to visit our beautiful area " Guanacaste ".

Directions
Tamarindo is about an hour ride by shuttle from Liberia airport (LIR); and Nature Air and SANSA operate flights from San Jose to the Tamarindo airport, just 5 minutes away. We are happy to help you arrange airport transportation !
Once you are in Tamarindo, we are easy to find - we are directly across the street from the main entrance to Hotel Arco Iris and Seasons Restaurant. Any driver should know where that is!

Macho Men:
Never stop to ask directions - it's not cool! Our GPS coordinates are: 10.295441, -85.839704.
Women (and guys in touch with their sensitive sides):
Turn onto Route 152 when you reach Villa real. Once you drive into town, past Witch's Rock Surf Camp and Eat at Joe's, you will see the Hotel Diria complex on your right.
Shortly after the Diria, you will take a LEFT opposite the entrance to El Be Beach Club. If you get to the roundabout, you have gone a block too far. Go around the circle and take your first right.
Now that you are back on course, you will take your second LEFT. Your turn will be just after you pass yummy Wok-n-Roll on your right. You will see an office park on your left and Pacific Park, a white seven-story condo on your right. If you go past Super 2001 supermarket, you missed your turn! Stop and grab a frosty beverage; then go back and get it right this time!
If you pass hotel Portofino and Hotel Nahua on your right, you are doing swell.
Take your first RIGHT, which will be just after the new Banco Nacional building (there will be a sign for hostel Bottella de Leche there). Go to the end of the block and take your first RIGHT. We are the second building on the left.
